Absolute Return Capital (ARC) is the global macro affiliate of Bain Capital. ARC manages assets in fixed income, equity, commodity and currency markets to produce attractive risk-adjusted returns while maintaining low correlation to traditional and other alternative investments. The team utilizes a research-intensive investment and risk management process to create portfolios of global return streams designed to perform well in a range of macroeconomic environments and to insulate performance from macroeconomic shocks. ARC commenced trading in May 2004.
